Tap at Birreria Paradiso. Reddish black body, steady beige head. a really balanced pumpkin porter, very drinkable. Not so forward in the pumpkin, lots of chocolate. Mellow bitter coffee notes complement the pumpkin. Really well executed.

Draft at Churchkey. 99.9% certain this is the DC Brau version. Poured a near-pitch black color with a off-white (tan/medium-brown) head. Aroma was creamy sweet notes - I’d say a tad latic, with notes of squash/pumpkin. Roasted malts, creamy bitter-sweet chocolates.

Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, smoke and faint spicy notes. The taste is smoke, nuts, roasted malts, pumpkin and a sweet finish. Medium bodied. Nice.

Draft murky maroon color, small beige head. Aroma of burnt coffe grounds and gourd. Taste has prunes, dates, espresso. Very nice.
