A hazy Pale Ale with our pals at Zillicoah and Burial, infused with lots of wheat and rye, and hopped with a blend of Oregon grown hops giving bright summer notes of citrus and flowers paired with some danker berry and pine.

Fresh, light, bright and slightly floral with no sense of the thickness/intense juice of a typical NEPA. But nor is it perfumey-floral/astringent or lacking in any way. Strata doesn't give any overripe/canned pineapple. Malts show light cracker to gently balance. Low acidity.
Bigger, brighter acid than expected in the flavor. Very light-bodied, though not thin. None of the thick, rich, pillowy/honey-like maltiness typical of the style. Still, it's amply malty. There's a touch of punchy pineapple but it gives way to bigger spice/floral character. Unripe stone fruit? Unripe tropical fruit? Something like that. Nice stuff and a good change of pace to make an NEPA without the typical intense juice and thick honey.
