2 month old can A: Poured a big 2 tan head over a deep amber orange body. Thick foam held up extremely well and left sticky lace patches. S: Balanced aroma of light toast and tart fresh orange citrus. T: Drying and bitter orange pith and pine well balanced by a good dose of caramel sweetness, then a floral finish. Pronounced cascade. M: Medium light with average carbonation and a wet powdery finish. O: Big toasty malt balance makes it tasty enough to enjoy several.

Very drinkable session pale ale. Barley-forward with light hops. Like an English pale ale without the slight sourness. Would be great to drink by the pitcher. Hazy amber pour with ok head and lacing. Light bitterness and a snappy finish. Soft carbonation. Tap at brewpub.

This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy orange color with a thin white mushroom cap of a head. Once the head died down, there’s a light soapy lacing clinging and then sliding into the beer.
The smell had a fair amount of citrus hops with a decent balance of caramel malts.
The taste was pretty messed the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a slight sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed alright for the style and for me.
Overall, a mostly average pale ale. I’d probably only have again if offered.

Draught @ Galaxy Hut, Arlington, VA. Pours slightly hazy light amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus. Ditto taste. Birter aftertaste. OK Quite nice to celebrate my #1600 in a VA den, sharing my ideas with a drunken local English teacher.
