Bottle @ home via the old rot box. Gusher. Pours a clear, reddish brown appearance with a huge brown head. Plastic, band aid, cherry syrup, roasty aroma. Twangy, tart flavor. A little bit of chocolate and some berry/cherry notes but it’s overloaded by plastic, band aid, and medicinal notes. Awful.

Draft at Of Love & Regret. Poured a dark, almost black color, perhaps dark brown (it was dark in the restaurant). Aroma is some roasted malt, chocolate and some sour cherries. Flavor was sour cherries, some tartness, vinous notes, barrel. Pretty tasty.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of old oak, red wine, cherry juice, chocolate and toasted wood. Medium body. Slight band-aid in nose but not taste.

Bottle courtesy of CaptainCougar, in turn courtesy of the brewer, for feedback. Thank you gentlemen! Murky dark brown color, beige head. Aroma of plastic and fruit. Taste is softly sour, vanilla, cherries. Better taste than aroma.
