We’ve taken our dark farmhouse base and dry hopped it with Falconer’s Flight and Centennial hops. The combination of yeast and hops create an explosion of flavors, and this beer will continue to develop as it ages.

13.05.2016, tap @ CBC:
Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish dry, dark malts, sour grass, oak, minerals, weeds, soil, berry skin, bloodlike minerals, alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet and harsh floral, bark, dark malts, weeds, harsh hops, oak, minerals, alcohol, soil, paper, sour grass. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle pour at the May 1st DC Tasting. Dark brown color, cola notes. With an off-white head. Aroma was floral, bitter flower leaves. Just fine, I suppose - nevermind. I didn’t like it.

(500ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours slightly hazy deep cola brown with a massive medium tan head that has some persistence and spotty lace. Aroma of grape juice, orange, grapefruit, lime, lactic notes, chocolate dough, leaves, herbal and funky overtone. Flavour is lightly sweet farmhouse with a fairly light component of dark malt and toast. Tart and citrusy at the core with grapefruit, pomelo, meyer lemon?, orange, red grape juice, softly chocolatey, pepper, a touch of roasted nuts in the finish. The finish is extremely dry and dusty, moderately bitter but not very flavourful. Medium bodied, below average but prickly carb. The dark malts are not really that assertive though I suspect they contribute to the red grape juice vibe that I’ve not had in other Prairie farmhouses. Definitely different, interesting if not completely balanced.
