We’ve taken our dark farmhouse base and dry hopped it with Falconer’s Flight and Centennial hops. The combination of yeast and hops create an explosion of flavors, and this beer will continue to develop as it ages.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours close to black with a burgundy hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Very rustic and unusual aroma with lots of aromas fighting to be dominant. Some Brett up there combined with spicy hops. Actually very pleasant. Medium body, lowish carbonation, very soft on the palate, subtle roast, yeast, funk and a hint of iodine. Complex - and mostly good. 070416

Bottle shared by Tom, thanks! Pours black with a light earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of grass and earthy dark grains with a bit of roast backing. Flavor has a combination of earthy pine and grass with a bit of roasted malts and earthy dark grains.

Brown color with beige head. Aroma is dryhopped and funky, slightly dark, artificial citrus funk. Taste is the same, a bit dark as well. Not a fan of dark Saisons, but still good.

Bottle from Whole Foods-Lamar. Dark, sweet, slightly peaty. Ginger, herbal, tingling. Starts slow, picks up speed, gets real delicious.

Keg at RB Best Festival, 31/01/16. Black topped with a decent tan covering. Nose carries light hops, bitter red berry, spice, faint pine, toasted bread, light wood, almost CDA-esque. Taste comprises cherry pips, light spice, biscuit, funk, earthy, grain, light yeast, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with an earthy hop chase. Decent.

On tap at Local Option. Black with a small head. Aroma of funk, apples, some grain and hints of spices. Similar taste. The body was medium as was the carbonation. Some tartness in the finish.
