A Berliner Weisse with 25% rye and raspberry, so we call it Berliner Ryesse. This style, with its origin in Berlin, is sometimes entitled as Champagne of the North! It's fresh and sour with a crisp carbonic bite. The addition of raspberry makes this pinkish colored beer even more refreshing and brings a subtle fruitiness.

Sampled @ 3. Mainzer Craftbier Messe 2017. A clear reddish beer with a small white head. Aroma of rye, red berries, some apples. Taste of red fruits, Blueberry, vegetables, rye.

Hauy pinkish, white lacing. Mild sourbess, some rapserry sweetness. Easy drinking without being too overpowered. Solid.

Bottle at home. Hazy pink with white head. Gunpowder, raspberry jam. Light sweet and moderate (lactic) sour. About medium body and average carbonation. Quite nice.

Draft @ Planet Oedipus ’17. Color is red/pink/orange, hazy. Pinkish head. Aroma’s: fruity, raspberry, sour. Retronasal it’s sourish, raspberry, lactic. Flavor islight sour, lactic. Light bodied.

On tap at Planet Oedipus. Hazy pink colour, off-white head. Aroma of raspberries, quite sweet, light wheat. Flavour of raspberry, light wheat, light spicy. Light bodied. Not too bad.

7 3 7 3 15 Draft at Planet Oedipus ’17. Cloudy pink red with a pink head. Aroma of fresh raspberry, yoghurt and rye. Flavour is light to moderate sour. Light bodied with soft carbonation.
