Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a hazy dark orange gold color with a white to off white foamy head. Light speckled lace.
The aroma took in some earthy sweet to semi-spicy hops with some caramel and toffee malts. Dried woodiness. Some orange sweetness.
The flavor balances between the dried woodiness flowing over the malts. Sweet with a touch of bitter and that balances on into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Bitterness feels there on my tongue.
Overall, decent AIPA but doesn’t seem to really \"grasp the bourbon\" as it says on the bottle. Perhaps, find a fresher bottle for next time. I don’t see any dates anywhere, so this stands for now.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Hazy golden color, tan head. Aroma of pine. Taste is bitter pine. Pretty straightforward stuff.
