@Brewers Jam-pours a rich tan head and copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt, some hops bite. Taste is tettnang/noble hops bite, secondary sweet medium malt-caramel (crystal malt). Still a bit hot, but nice.

Waxed 22 ounce bottle from Bestway in Greensboro, NC. Pours a very dark but clear reddish brown color with a medium sized offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of dark malts, soy, toffee, caramel and faint fruity notes. The taste is dark malts, toffee, raisins, bitter citrus hops and fairly big boozy notes. Medium bodied. The look and aroma are quite nice but the taste is not quite as pleasant. 6/3/10
