Hell-holzig in der Farbe, malzig-würziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist holzig-malzig, sehr mild-weich. Tolle Holztöne. Schön weich mild. Keine alkoholischen Noten. Der Nachgeschmack ist leicht herb, mild-weich. Toll!

750mL cool looking bottle poured into a 12oz Corsendonk goblet glass. Pours with a small head atop an orange body. Aroma is very German - ashy metal lager with green slightly sulphuric lager yeast. Very German aroma. Flavor is similar with a faint tartness at the very end with a fresh lager finish. Nice stuff, no oak presence.

Thanks to Eugene for sharing - cloudy dark copper - some fine floating particulate - fluffy, lasting lace - aroma of doughy yeast, lightly toasty malt, light caramel, somewhat dull hoppiness, mildly bitter oak - flavor of bitter oak up front, followed by doughy character, lighty estery notes - a decent frothiness to the mouthfeel - lightly tart finish, with some baked apple and peach - interesting beer.

Capped 750 (fat bottom Italian style) from Monument in Concord, CA. Pours hazy med dark orange/amber with a creamy/frothy beige head. Aroma is fruity, lightly toast malt, and a suggestion of wood. Med + body. Carb is sharpish. Flavor is fruity, lightly toast malt, with some woody astringency. It’s something of a contradiction. It seems dry and bitter, then it seems mildly sweet and not all that bitter. Finishes fruity, malt and a little woody. Consistent in that anyway. Very tasty.

Draught: Golden, no head to speak of; citrussy-hoppy nose, distinctive traces of wood and vaillla; bitter-tart flavour, some sweetness behind, medium bodied; lingering woody-bitter finish. No pleasure......
