Our Dunkelweiss is inspired by German-style dunelweizen bier. It is bottled and served ’mit hefe’ - with yeast. The fruity aroma and spicy notes are contributed by our special weizen yeast strain. Brewed with 100% German dark wheat and barley malts along with imported Czech Saaz hops. High on a hill in the Sugarhouse Brewery/ 5% alc/vol.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, burnt orange with a creamy, white head. Nose is wet malts, German yeast, lightly herbal. It smells like a brewhouse. Flavor is sweet, malty, fall fruits, wet grains. Medium bodied, sweet finish.

Bottle courtesy of brad - thank you sir! Murky light brown, off white edge head. Aroma of bubblegum. Flavor is wheat, light spice, caramel. Not bad.
