2 oz. sample draft at the brew pub in Santa Rosa, California. The pour is cloudy yellow greenish, with a fizzy head that falls fairly quick. The aroma is classic wit - nice balance between wheat grain, orange citrus notes, coriander and a touch of floral. The taste follows the nose, balance of wheat, orange citrus and coriander. The palate is light bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, and sparkly active carbonation. Overall, really well executed wit - simple, straightforward, and no overkill on the yeast or spice. Nice.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium thin eggshell white head that recedes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas, clove and yeast. Light body with flavors of yeast, vanilla and banana, plus some citrus. The finish is fruity with a sweet spiced finish. Decent all around.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours very hazy dark gold with a white head. Light fruit aroma. Creamy. A little wheaty with light hop and hints of spice. Moderately bitter. Good beer, but not exotic. Better than average wit (didn’t realize it was one til entering the rating).
