An abundance of hops and malt are added to our IPA to create and preserve its distinctive flavors. Not only do we use generous portions of hops in the kettle, but we also dry hop this ale for one week after fermentation. The dry hopping process adds to this beer's floral and citrus aroma. This is truly a tasty adult beverage!

Draft at the brewpub. Brilliant amber copper color with a decent white head. Aromas of citrus/pine. Near medium body with light carbonation. Flavor is all pine. Quite the sturdy hoppy, bitter one.

(10/28/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Santa Rosa. 6.1%. Clear golden. Aroma of rather citrusy hops (grapefruit and pomelo) and some background malt. A balanced flavor with some malt sweetness and a good dose of delicate hop bitterness. Medium-bodied.

On tap. Pours with a large, and long lasting white head covering a clear yellow body. Great lacing. ARoma of orange and lots of C-Hops. Taste is bitter and a bit malty. Bitterness presents itself as lemon and orange. Creamy mouthfeel with light carbonation.

From tap at OBrians. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly collapsing light yellowish head. Smooth fruity hops aroma. Dense bitterness coming through with a light fruity base flavour and vague caramel malt base. Lingering hoppy and mild caramel malty mixed with oily and fruity hoppy finish.

Growler shared by JoeMcPhee via golubj. Completely clear light orange color and a medium strong head and a sticky lacing. Aroma is citrus and pine hops and very bitter grapefruit. Taste is much more relaxed with light sweet hops and faint grapefruit skins. Absolutely no bitterness in the flavor, nice stuff.

Growler shared by JoeMcPhee - clear gold/orange beer, with a soapy, lasting head - huge west coast hop aroma, with loads of citrus and mango - lots of earthy, woody hop flavor - nice and dry, with just enough of a malt base to keep it from being too much so - a tiny bit of tropical fruit sweetness underneath - very grassy and peppery throughout - a nice IPA.

On Tap at the BP Clear medium light orange amber. Small sandy head and clingy lacing. Sweet citrusy aroma and the flavor is more piney and woody. Hops and big bitterness are more than a match for their malt counterparts. Long late big bitter trailer. Modrate palate.
