On tap at brewpub. It pours clear copper with amber core and light tan head. The aroma is sweet and lagery with malt sweetened floral hops and little else. The first impression of the taste is, hey this is a lagery brew. I get a mix of lagery yeast, sugar sweet malts, floral hops and a sweet malt infused red apple esteriness. Interesting.

Tap, courtesy of Candice in the flapper costume, thanks very much! Bright golden color, off white head. Aroma of grass and pine. Bitter throughout. Not bad, more interesting than your average Oktoberfest.

Draught at the brewpub
Light amber color. Light aroma. Dry caramel flavor and strong bitterness. Correct brew, but very basic.
Do you think it’s the same rating as the Amber? Well, I think it’s the same beer… almost; and quite different from an Oktoberfest, maybe a Heller Bock.
