Called Elsie’s Milk Stout at the Sun Up brewpub. Poured up on tap with inky dark body supporting a mocha head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts and rich dark roasted coffee. The taste has dark roasted malts and a nice wedge of chocolate followed by a pleasing yet mild degree of dark roasted coffee. This is nice and rich. I like it.

on hand pump-pours a brown head and black color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate/roasty, earthy. Taste is oat/dark malt-chocolaset/roasty hops with some bite. Dry finish.

enjoyed during 2011 RBWG on cask pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is coffee and light roast. Flavor is semi-sweet cocoa and roast, really not bad at all just extremely thin.

Cask/handpull, courtesy of Candice (dressed in her flapper costume), thank you ma’am! Day maroon brown color, tiny beige edge head. Aroma of Starbucks with a slightly smoky edge. Taste is coffee grounds, interesting roasted caramel and chocolate. Body is just a bit too light, but overall a nice beer.
