(Sample on tap at the downtown brewpub, May 26 2014) Poured a very hazy pale yellow-gold with a lasting frothy white head and lace. Aroma very yeasty and doughy, clove, cardamom (?), chamomile soap, lemon zest, slight pit fruit, herbal. Flavour pretty much followed nose, a little sweet pale malt to start but finish reasonably bitter, slightly acidic/tart, mostly dry and yeasty. Not terrible but didn’t really come together for me, Medium bodied but with very lively, effervescent carbonation. Drinkable.

On tap at Benelux, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some mild barnyard funk and hay. Flavour features lots of barnyard funk, very wild, moderate yeast showing, finishing quite yeasty and less wild than initially. Medium carbonation. Solid saison.

Tap at Benelux, Montreal - 04/03/12. Cloudy orange with a thin head. Belgian yeast, clove and spice on the nose. Taste as nose, a little pepper, earth and grass. Soft to medium in feel/body.

Aroma is average witbier smells; wait, isn’t this supposed to be a saison? Has a nice foggy orange body and decent head in a curvy glass. Flavour is all witbier taste of citrus and it has a bit of a cloying detergent aftertaste. Okay mouthfeel. This ain’t no saison, it’s just a boring attempt at a Belgian witbier!

Tap at Churchkey. Pale straw colored, small white head, massive lacing. Aroma of pepper and bitter herbs. Taste is bitter, flat, wet cardboard, metallic finish. Unpleasant.

A lightly hazed blonde saison with a htin white head. Pleasant fruity esters in aro,a, with light cloves and honey. In mouth, a crisp spiced saison, with ginger, yeast, orange peels. A very nice saison. On tap at Mondial 2009.
