Va BF 07 Draft: Over the top strawberry aroma. Clear golden pour with no head. Strawberry and cherry flavor and no hops. Decent vanilla finish. Could use more hoips, but not bad.

A hazy orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of strawberries - I’m not that fond of strawberries in anything than lambic. The flavor is sweet, but quite light, the strongest note being of strawberries with light notes of malt and even lighter notes of wheat. There’s no flaws, but it is just not me.

Lively. Just a slight fruity aroma, if any. Not overly fruity and can barely taste any strawberry at all, but that don’t subtract from the enjoyability of this beer. Could detect an ever so slight amount of bitterness. OK, second bottle; now I taste the added strawberry flavors. It says right on the bottle, the flavor was added! The last fruit beer I tasted was abita purple haze. This is much much better than that. This has a really nifty prickly little teeny bubbles carbonation. Of all the beers in my ’fridge (about 8 different kinds) I found myself reaching for this. Very easy to drink and enjoy. Best of the fruit beers I’ve tasted.

pours a fizzy, big foamy tan head with copper color. Aroma is strawberry, wheat. Taste is strawberry, wheat and malt. Not a regular but occasional, nicely done.

Bottle. Kind of bland aroma of strawberries and bread. Light amber color, a malty, fruity sweet flavor, but nothing special.

Bottle. Pours pretty golden with a small head. Smell of a strawberry candy in the nose- not as fkae-smelling as Pete’s strawberry brew, but doesn’t smell real either. Flavor is more wheaty than fruity. Kinda plain and bland.

Slightly hazy orange coloured body with golden highlights and a thin white head. Aroma of fake strawberres, icing sugars, light hops and some odd fresh scents. Light-bodied; Tart, acidic flavour with strong carbonation and little else. Aftertaste shows freshness and more pale flavours. Overall, an acceptable fruit beer, but not anything great. I was lucky enough to sample this twelve ounce bottle purhased by jon[r888710] at Chevy Chase Wne & Liquors in Washington, D.C.

Bottled. Cloudy reddish brown, minimal head. Light strawberry aroma. Sweet and soft, huge on toffee with strawberry fudge accompanying it. Most fruit wheats are sticky sweet, this is balanced. There are some grassy hops alongside all the toffee in the finish.

Strawberry beers are always hard to pull off. I have had this beer a few times over the years and each time am left with the impression that it sounds much better than it really is. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a cloudy dark tan with a large light tan head. There are a few pieces of sediment. There is a light vague fruit aroma. The taste is slightly fruity and tart although there was no distinct strawberry flavor. Medium finish. Light body. The brew is very heavily carbonated.
