This classic style bitter is full and creamy on the tongue with no 'bite' as the name might suggest. Golden in color and mild in character, it's a 'session' beer that satisfies. Served hand pumped from the beer engine.

Draft at brewery. Hazy orange amber with creamy head. Light aroma of sourdough bread. Taste adds some savory notes, still very light. Cask pour makes for some velvety textures.

On tap at Victory in Downingtown. It pours a light orange color with no head. The aroma is lightly floral and herbal. A little pale and caramel malt. The flavor is very watery and herbal. Weak bitterness. Not really exciting.

Pint draft at Taco Mac Metropolis in Atlanta, Georgia. The pour is a hazed copper orange with a 1/2 inch light tan head. The aroma is sweet toffee caramel with a bit of grass in the back. The taste is toasted crystal malt, grass and the sweetness of the toffee comes out in the finish. Floral dries out the after taste. The palate is light bodied, towards thin with soft carbonation and a grainy finish. Easy drinking.

On nitro at mad mex. Fairly smooth flat beer. Had such a beautiful pour, foaming top of glass unlike many. Swell falls to a velvaty head. Tastes like it should be darker. Finish is a tad medicinal for less than 5%.

Cask at Capital Ale House -Innsbrook. Poured a golden copper color with not much of a head at all - very low carbonation. Sweet malts, with a little bit of bready yeast character to it. It is very mellow, and perhaps would be more enjoyable if it was a bit more carbonated. Enjoyed the light character of it to an extent while having a nice dinner.
