From tap at the Churchkey. Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity and crisp hoppy and light grapefruity. Toasted malty, caramelish and solid bitter to fruity hoppy. Bitter and flat malty into the finish.

Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso - Georgetown, Washington D.C. Pour came from upstairs, so didn’t see head once arrived. Clear ruby color, no head. Aroma had a sweet malt, brown sugar character. The sweet flavor certainly was pleasant. Highly drinkable, even at 8.8%.

Draft at Max’s. Brewed to celebrate the birth of the brewer’s son. Dark golden brown color, off white edge head. Aroma of malt and hay. Taste is very bitter from start to finish, lots of fresh hops. Very tasty.
