(Sample @ CBC 2016 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours a lovely medium pink colour, a bit like lingonberry juice. Nose has lots of bright tart red berries, a fruit punch sort of feel, lingonberry jam in there but also a spate of other berry notes, vinous grape quality from the cognac, layers of oak in behind. Palate has intense lingonberry jam, white wine, cognac, oak, nice and jammy long into what's an extensive aftertaste of lingonberry preserve and subtle brandy. Smooth medium mouthfeel, slick with low carbonation. Call me a sucker for lingonberry but this is superb stuff, and I really like the cognac-aged base character showing through.

Draught @ CBC 2016 [ Red Session ]. - Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Oksnehallen Vesterbro, Halmtorvet 11, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Bokkereyder Vossenbes ].Unclear dark red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy barnyard, leather, funky, cherry, cranberry, almonds, sweet red berries. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long duration, tart, cherry, cranberry, almonds, funky, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160514]

CBC. Deep red with small pink head. Aroma is malt, berries, tart and barnyard. Flavour is malt, berries, tart, sour, lemon, little barnyard, medium sweet and a little dry.

[5/14/16] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016. Red session. Lovey red with a pink head. Great aroma of juicy berries, wine, wood, funk. Amazing sweet and tart flavor with tons of juicy berries, grapes, funk, wood, vinous hint. Silky rounded mouthfeel. Outstanding.

Tap at CBC ’16. Hazy purple red with a ring pink head. Big tart red berries on the nose with cranberry, raspberry and light funk. Really fruity. Flavour is light to light moderate sweet and moderate sour. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
