Bottled. A dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of English yeast, hops, and elderflowers. The flavor is very English with notes fo matl, caramel, and elderflowers, leading to a dry finish.

Cask: poured a orange with a creamy head. Aroma was light and malt. Taste was mild and light hops the body seemed thin and very drinkable.

Cask at the Sagra del Borlengo in Guiglia. Clearish copper color, medium white head, solid lacing. Aroma of malt and black pepper. Taste is bitter throughout, very light body. More like a Mild than a Best Bitter. Decent enough to remind me of the pubs of Suffolk and Norfolk.

Cloudy amber color. In the aroma it’s possible to detect traces of chemicals and vegetables. The expected caramel flavor, dry, with a fairly strong bitterness, but the promised Fuggles is missing, and there is a touch of vegetables too. The final is not even long enough.
True that the BBD was June (opened in August), but production was only in March!
