From old tasting notes. Mahogany brown color with reddish hues. Bubbly tan head. Toasted malt aroma with a hint of black currants. Tart sour hop flavor. Toasted malt that becomes lactic. Interesting flavor hints more toward Belgian roots then German. Long lingering malty finish and aftertaste.
