A dark, mild ale that’s true to style. Light in body and hops and low in alcohol. A real session beer for any season.

Draft at Five & Dime in Bmore. Dark brown. Clear. American take on style. Cleaner & more carbonated. But has soppy wet brown malts flavor and earthy soil sweetness. Maybe I am a sucker for anything close to a good mild.

Sampled on draft at the Pratt St Ale House this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was toasty, woody and had a hint of dark fruit. The flavor was toasty, bitter, woody and a bit watery. Medium length finish. Light body. Meh.

Tap at Pratt Street - Dark amber/brown - a well-executed mild, with moderate mineral/burtonized character, light fruitiness, a bit toasty, with a small touch of toffee on the tail end - mostly dry, though, with some Biscuity notes on the tail end - tasty.
