A dark, mild ale that’s true to style. Light in body and hops and low in alcohol. A real session beer for any season.

Served on draft at the Pratt Street location. Pours a clear dark amber color with a medium creamy offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Weak aroma with notes of chocolate and caramel. The taste is nutty malts, some toastiness, caramel, bitter finish. Thin-medium bodied.

Sampled on cask at Churchkey, Washington DC. Pours a transparent, copper, purplish amber with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma is malty, bready, a little oak. Flavor is malty, some light toasted grains, bread, crackers, biscuit, some mild sweetness. Finish was a little watery. Nice for a mild.
