A very nice aroma of just about nothing at all. Think there’s some malt and hop, but can’t be sure. It is more than air. The color is pale gold, and the frantic white head left while I typed this. Near medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. The flavor is pale malt, not all that corny, and there is some hop. The finish is not dry, but not terrible. There is some bitter. It’s at least as good as Bud and maybe better (not that it really matters - a macro is a macro - waiting for the one to dispell that cynicism).

Cheap, bland, some flavor. Unremarkable and bad, but maybe not as bad as its reputation.

I’m not expecting much from this beer, Milwaukee’s Best. Usually if it says best, you better be concerned. 12 oz pull top can, cost me $1 at the local pub but I know I can get this for 33 cents a can by the case if I so desire. I know this is a BMC, so you are mumbling ‘This can’t be the first time he’s tasted it?” No it is not….. I’ve had this countless times before I became an amateur ratebeerian. First, I wanted to get some experience with about 200 ‘good’ beers and really give this brew equal footing before I BMC step on it. So, this is neither a number padder nor a memory rate. This beer is being sampled as I review. It says it is brewed with the finest quality malt, barley and selected grain. Pours like any other good pale yellow beer I’ve poured in my former stooges and present steeler stein. Nice clear light yellow appearance. In a couple of places there is some carbonation rising. No offensive odor, as a matter of fact it does smell a little sweet attractive. Very gentleman like first taste, like a typical pale american lager. Nice creamy palate that is above average in carbonation. The slightly industrial finish is not as smooth as I would like to have for a lager, but there is nothing real offensive to it. I think this may be a drawback to those who love IPA or imp stouts. Overall; decent beer, nice price.

Drank it out of the can. This may very well be one of the worst beers that I have ever poured down my throat. It tastes like sweat... yeah like sweat. I had about 4 beers in my before I tried this rubbish and it still tasted like I was licking the armpit of some sweaty guy at the gym. Horrible! I am almost ready to say that I would rather have Natural Light over this simply because the taste might be somewhat less offensive. If God is on my side, I will never drink this beer again. Zero redeeming qualities. (Have you figured out I hate this beer yet?)

can - This is one disgusting pale lager. It’s like numerous other macro pale lagers, only worse. It is fit for one thing though. Slug food! If you have problems with slugs in your garden, put some Beast in a small container like a butter tub and put in the ground in the garden. The slugs are drawn to the beer, fall in, and die. Since this beer is about the cheapest around, it’s perfect. The slugs don’t have very refined palates. You see, Milwaukee’s Best does have a purpose!

Words can not comprehend how bad this beer really is. No wonder the nickname "beast" is so often used for this "beer". I’ve been told they make a "chest" of this drink that you can purchase 30 of them for 10 dollars. I wonder why. Don’t even bother unless you have enough adventure to say you’ve had the worst beer on the face of the planet

OK, I’ve seen and heard and read plenty about the beast line of beers. I didn’t care for the smell but the taste for a pale beer was nondescript, not awful, similar to it’s Ice version.

Can. Sour malt aroma. Pale yellow with big head. Full sour malt flavor. We did a blind taste test of 15 different pale lagers and believe it or not, the Beast scored higher than all other macros and much higher than any other Miller products. If you’re going to drink BMC products, you might as well save money.

Canned (how appropriate): Most bad beers I try to think of something interesting or witty to make the experience worthwhile. However this beer is so worthless it is not worth the effort. Straw color with tiny bubbles and a thin white head. No lacing. Musty weak hops aroma. Thin-bodied and anemic with barely any flavor, and what is there is not pleasant. You shouldn’t even be able to make something this low quality with malt, hops and water. The fact that there is an aftertaste is distressing because it is not an appealing experience. Never again.

Come on now, everyone has a fond "Beast" memory. When you pay $9 for 30 of these cold, golden brews, you have to limit the complaints. So I will. Nasty, sour swill that nonetheless contributes to drunken college parties and seedy behavior. When's the last time YOU slayed the Beast?
