Notes from early 90’s. Had this several times from tap & bottle. Brown color. Off white head with some retention. Aroma’s of roasted malts, drop, moderate bitterness. Flavor: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Short bitter finish.

Draught. 6.5% as Oranjeboom Bok 2001. Seemingly clear. Very dark brown colour with some red. Does taste aged, which I generally do not appreciate. Low carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Quite peppery flavour, but well-balanced. OK maltiness and some dried fruit, but the sherriness of aged beer overpowers most of it.
