Backlog. Cask @ Beach Chalet, 2007. Aroma’s of fruit and sweet malts. Retronasal it’s sweet, fruity, a bit herbal/spicy. Flavor is moderate bitter with a malty sweet backbone. Light bodied, on the thin side. Long moderate bitter finish, some malty sweetness as well. Quite good.

On cask. Pours with a hazed yellow, yeast particle filled yellow body with a thick, foamy white head. Aromas are very fruity, bready, estery, woodsy hops, lemon and tangerine zest, over ripe pear. Flavors: a bit of diacetyl and a bit of a slick mouthfeel. Medium bitter, lemon squares (the pasty), bready. Lasting bitterness. Thick and a bit oily on the mouth (odd), medium to light bubbles. So-so.
