Tap @ Arendsnest (sample size). Black color. Dense beige head with good retention and lacing. Aroma’s: fruity, laurel/bay leaves, drop/licorice, roasted malts. Flavor is moderate sweet, light sour, roasted malts. Medium to full bodied, velvetty, soft carbonation. Finishes ashy, with lots of roast and long lasting bitterness. Superb!

Tap @ Arendsnest, small sample. Dark color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, dark chocolate, coffee, hint of molasses. Medium sweet and medium bitter in taste. Slight alcohol feel. Reminding me of the Imperial Brown Stout of the Kernel. Not yet the same quality, but its getting there. Lovely brew.
