Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a red shine under a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, alcohol, and a bit of wood. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and alcohol, leading to a dry roasted and alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours almost black with a vague tint of red and a light brown head. Hard roast nose, but a little rough. Medium body, hard roast, some licorice and heavy roat bitter finish. Altogether a bit rough. 290911

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, fruity and dark roasted malty. Bitter, chocolate, hops fruity: peachy and light mango. Fruity and dark roasted chocolate malty into a dry and bitter yet also dark malty finish.

Bottled. Dark color, medium brown head. Lovely aroma of roasted malt mixed with some nice mocha and caramel sweetness. Some licorice and coffee as well. Hint of blackcurrant, slight fruity. Smooth creamy texture. Moderate bitter taste, chocolat and coffee. Very nice porter!

33 cl bottle @ home. Very dark brown, almost opaque. Big beige head, slowly receding. Aroma’s of roasted malts, sweet, (milk-)chocolate/cocoa. Flavor balances nicely between the malty sweetness and the roast. Velvetty mouthfeel. Firnishes with more roast and then rather bitter. Well made.

33cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Black colour, thin creamy off white head. Aroma of hard roasted malts, tar, oat, coffee. Flavour is light sweet, hard roasted malts, hint of tar, some coffee, light fruity, short bitter roasted finish. Light bodied, actually thin. They can do a lot better imo.
