330ml bottle, 9.5 % abv, many thanks to Skinnyviking. Motor oily pour revealing a big, bubbly light brown coloured body, solid stand and crocheted lacework. Devil-black body. Pleasant aromas of mid-sweet malts, chocolate upfront. Rich taste of chocolate malts together with ash, earth and bitter dark fruits. Smooth, long-lived roasted ending, alcohol warmth to it. Well-balanced and full bodied, still dangerously easy to drink. Perfect afternoon sipper (Tromsø 25.10.2014).

Bottle. Pours rich inky black with a large creamy tan head that lasts a long time and dissipates well. Aroma is rich roasty malts, cocoa, ashes, tobacco, Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, ashy and roasty. Just a touch of sharp astringency from the roasted malts presumably. A bit burned in general. Medium body. Sharpness is a detractor from an otherwise solid beer.

Bottle - Rich dark chocolate, cocoa and roast malts. Deep black brown with a rich brown head. Tons of dark chocolate and a bit of roast. Light coffee notes on the finish and great mouth feel. Although pretty simple in its profile, it is a superb example.
