Black. Pale brown head. Aroma of strong coffee, dark chocolate, alcohol and liquorice. Similar taste, with lots of bitter dark chocolate. Creamy. Good drinkability.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting. Black colour, large tan head. Nice roasty aroma, more chocolate than coffee. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Smooth and roasty flavour, coffee, oak, chocolate and vanilla. Jolly good.

330ml bottle at home. Black color with nice beige head. Light aroma, roasted malty with some chocolate and alcohol. Sweet roasted malty chocolate taste, licorice with nice dark chocolate, coffee bitter long finish. Medium to full body, creamy feel and soft to average carbonation.

Bottle. It pours an unclear, brown body under a dense, finger thick light tan head. The aroms is sourish, with some faint grass and vegetable notes. Coffee and dark chocolate too. Full-bodied and lightly warming in the mouth, with a pleasant sweetness. Coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of dms in the flavor. Lightly warming finish with coffee, dark chocolate and some sourish notes. There’s something not so pleasant in this one, but it’s a very fine beer anyway. 140416

33cl bottle (ABV. 9,5%) from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours black with a beige head. Roasty aroma with dark fruits, dark chocolate, notes of coffee and licorice and hints of hops. Medium sweet with balanced and very pleasant roasty flavours and a surprisingly nice bitterness. Nice one!

Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Deep dark brown pour with a small tan head. Dark choc and malts in the nose. Flavour was similar with some roast and dark fruit notes. Smooth with a warming booze hit. Quality beer, might be the best Spanish brew I’ve ever tasted.

0.33l bottle. Looks really good in the glass this. It has a really big frothy dark brown lingering head on top of a deep dark brown body. On the nose it's roasty, quite well hopped. I get a little phenol thingy along with dark chocolate powder, cappuccino and tones of licorice root. Not bad at all. It has a above average carbonation level, actually somewhat lively in a light oily mouthfeel. Quite roasty or even slightly burned in the taste. There is a faint sourness also here. Almost like a infection-light going on. It's really roasty, almost burned in a way and it has a strong boozy flavor from start to aftertaste. A little bit of chocolate, bitter cold coffee and grass. A bit of salty licorice also perhaps, but it feels a bit not-integrated and a tad to boozy for a porter. Lingering dry and near burned aftertaste. Fair enough I guess. Lots of flavor, that's for sure. 20.10.2013

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Koseøl i Skibotn 21 Des 13. Svart. Veldig høyt litt lysebrunt skum. Bra lacing. Aroma av kaffe. Smaken er kaffe & lakris. Blir litt tørr etter hvert. Alkoholen godt kamuflert men en aner den i avslutninga.
