A black beer brewed with roasted barley malt and challenger hops. Then freshly ground Arabica coffee beans, blended especially for Dark Star, are added to the copper for a few minutes after the boil to provide a rich and complementary coffee aroma. NOT EVERYONE’S CUP OF TEA!

Bottle from Booths. Black with not much of a head. Has a full aroma with plenty of coffee evident. It’s much less stated in its taste but at the same time it’s still tasty.

zwart helder met bruine kraag aroma: zoet, chocolade, geroosterde moute, koffie/espresso smaken: redelijk zoet, matig bitter, sterk, licht fruitig, redelijk sterk gemout (gebrande en geroosterde mouten), espresso bonen medium body, dun van textuur, mooie sterke koffie in zowel aroma als de smaak, had een iets vollere body kunnen gebruiken

50 cl. bottle sampled @ Kraddel does 1K tasting. Provided / procured @ T-Drinks. Cheers. BBF 02/2015. Pours a dark brown, light black shades, mocha bubbles for a head. Nose is pure bitter roasted coffee and espresso bean, light roast and touch chocolate. Taste is bitter roasted espresso beans, dark bread malts, lightly sweetish, chocolate, small hint vanilla, touch of roasted malts but espresso and coffee dominates the flavour. Touch light body. Quite enjoyable and easy to drink overall.

Dobry stout bardzo kawowy, mocny aromat mocnej kawy espresso. Czarny jak irlandzki drafy stout. Oleisty i smolisty. Pelna glebia smaku. Piana srednia ale opada. Aromat mocno palonej kawy i slodu jeczmiennego. Gozkie i wytrawne. Finisz dlugi.
