Black pour, mocha head. Good roast, solid pine resin, coffee, and soy also. Medium bitterness, hops fall off toasty coffee dominates.

Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, fruits, citrus, dark chocolate, hops. Flavour is roasty, coffee, fruity, with a dry medium bitter finish. Excellent example of the style, lovely balance.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Roast, citrus, peach and pineapple in the aroma and flavor. Malty sweet, ripe fruit. caramel. Well balanced. Nice beer.

330 ml bottle, as Het Uiltje Bosuil - Tawny Owl. ABV is 6%, 50 EBU. From Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. BB date 03.11.16. Nearly black colour, moderate beige head. Nice aroma of fruity and piney hops, on a background of roast malts, caramel, chocolate and vanilla. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, moderate bittering hops.

330ml bottle from Boxbeers. BBE 03.11.16. Pours dark brown, almost black with a smooth head. Aroma of grapefruit, licorice, tar, hints of roastiness, coffee and ash. Taste is smooth, fruity and slightly roasty with some licorice, ash, grapefruit, tar and pine. Finish is smooth and herbal with some hops, fruits, grass, roastiness, licorice and ash. Slightly unbalanced, but still pretty good.
