Can from a Premier store corner shop in Stratford-Upon-Avon. My first beer from Slovakia. Pours gold with moderate sized white head, nice lacing. Aroma of corn, grains, grass, sweet malts. Standard. Taste is very grainy and corn noted with a sweet and almost syrupy mouthfeel although I cant detect any syrups being used from the ingredients. Not great for the style but fine as a basic euro lager.

Bottle 0,5ltr bought in Karlovy Vary, Czech Rep: Like more beers from Middle Europe its has that grassy smell and taste at the start of drinking the liquid. It will change in a very drinkable brew.

Ziołowe, zbożowe i diacetyl. Barwa złota, przejrzyste,piana redukuje się do niskiej, ładny lacing. Goryczka zaznaczona, ziołowa, przyjemna. Trochę słaba słodowość, ale jest lekkie, pijalne, do grilla w sam raz.

Pours bright golden yellow with a thin tan head. Aroma of rich cereals. Taste has fairly typical oily malt, some acerbicness to it. Palate has lingering oils, some mild bite. Not bad. Thanks Zuza!

On tap pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is light cereal grain malts and some skunk. Taste is more of the skunk grain and grass.

The smell of skunk from the start overshadows the cereal accents. Golden, shiny and clear liquid. Generous, rocky and persistent foam. On the palate, it is cereal and honeyed with a herbaceous and subtly peppery bitterness. Quite acceptable light diacetyl enhances the honeyed side of the malts. The sweetness of the malts is interesting and largely dominates the taste palette. The bitterness is just present enough to make the finish pleasant. The body is still quite round and the texture is velvety. Had it not been for this ugly flaw common to beers bottled in green bottles, it would probably have been ranked higher. Heat and light in storage or transportation probably have something to do with it. Français: Odeur de moufette dès le départ qui supplante les accents céréaliers. Liquide doré, brillant et limpide. Mousse généreuse, rocailleuse et persistante. En bouche, c’est céréalier et miellé avec une amertume herbacée et subtilement poivrée. Diacétyle léger tout à fait acceptable vient rehausser le côté miellé des malts. Le côté sucré des malts est intéressant et domine largement la palette gustative. L’amertume est juste assez présente pour rendre la finale agréable. Le corps est quand même assez rond et la texture bien veloutée. N’eut été de ce vilain défaut commun aux bières embouteillées dans des bouteilles vertes, elle aurait probablement été mieux classé. Chaleur et lumière à l’entreposage ou le transport y sont probablement pour quelque chose. O:2.61 V:4.74 G:7.9 C:3.84 G:13.04 T:32.13

The beer of Slovakia now brewed in Wisconsin. Pour is a clear amber with a large foamy head. Aroma is some grainy sweet malt. Flavor is more of a dull grainy malt with a clean finish. Nothing really great and I'm sure this is way better fresh brewed in Slovakia. My can said this is now back to 5% abv.
