Classic Alt with pale beige, moussy, sticky, firm and stable head and deep, warm copper colour, clear with steady but calm sparkling. Dried fruits and lots of caramel- and nut-like malts in the nose, sundried tomatoes, passion fruit, hazelnuts, soap, leather, jute, rosewater, lavender, grass. Dryish fruitiness in the onset, medium carbonation, minerals, deep nutty maltiness, finishing in a long finish of spicy, peppery hops. Perfectly suitable as an introduction to this ancient style.

Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy beige head, rocky pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit malty, metallic, roasted, grains, caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: metallic start, some caramel, grains, bit of citrus, sourish, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: bit metallic, grains, roasted, some mocha, bitter hops. Not bad.

Golden-brown, aroma has some earthy, caramelly character. Taste is similar, but with moderate bitterness coming through as well. Not bad for industrial alt.

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, bitter. Geschmack röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, würzig bitterer Abgang.

Tap at the brewery. 27/08/13. Aroma is swet sileage and nutty alt. Clear amber colour with a fleeting sticky off-white head. Flavour is sweet nutty malt, some nobel hop in the finish. Slightly tangy finish

Bottle. Dark amber color,m off-white foamy medium head, fruity aroma, roasted malt taste, low carbonation, abrupt finish. Nice taste and easy to drink.

Bottle. My first experience of an Alt. Nose is toast and malt, slight cereal, very gentle hint of smoke. Taste is very woody leading to hazelnuts, cereal and a waft of smoke, spice and butter in the finish. Mouthfeel is light and too fizzy for my taste. A reasonable experience but I wouldn’t rush back.

25cl on tap at goldenen ring. white head which dissappears quickly. Clear amber pour. A nice alt..
