Unfiltered blonde beer with a touch of wheat and a strong bitterness. Brewed the good old way, it is very refreshing. The only Saison beer produced in the region of Namur! The foam and bubbles are delicate and fine. Balance is the key word for this beer. It shifts between floral aromas, lime, a little broom and a lace mouth, but is robust at the same time. Refreshing as hell, this beer takes us back in time.

Huge coarseish white head. Hazy yellow body with strong carbonation. Floral mealy orangey aroma with spicy herbal notes. Dry-sweet spicy mealy orangey taste with herbal spicy notes. Mid-to-light body. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish dusty freshly cut wood aftertaste with orangey mealy notes. Excellent! Strong, clear, fresh, vivid flavours, yet delightfully easy to drink. Really an outstanding beer by any measure. (0.75l bottle, from Systembolaget Karlstad.)

Endlich wieder Saison-Saison! Meins kommt in der kleinen Handgranate, quasi eine Saisongranate in einer zugegebenermaßen Granaten-Saison. Schluss der schlechten Bier-Gags, ran an den Humpen. Optisch etwas trüb, kleine Perlen, im Teko hält sich der Schaum mäßig. In der Nase schwierig, Rhabarber, riecht sauer, wieso auch immer. Lippen gespitzt, gottseidank kein Rhabarber, aber was ist das dann? Nochmal spühlen, keine Ahnung was das ist, die Frucht kippt schnell ins malzige. Hat was, nette Mischung, aber nett sind alte Frauen und kleine Hunde. Das wird nix mit Höchstnoten, mehr Frucht bitte, aber bitte keine Meerfrucht. Da sind wir also wieder. Prost Mahlzeit.

75 cl. bottle @ the bungalow in Vencimiont, bought @ Carrefour, Beauraing. Milky yellow with a big white head. Wheaty aroma and taste and a citrus flavour. Creamy mouthfeel. a very nice saison-like wheat ale.

Straw yellow, opaque, effervescent. Huge rocky white head. Stays. Yeasty spicy aroma. Wheat. Pale malts. Coriander. Orange peel. Light ro medium body. Dry taste with spicy yeastiness. Fairly more bitter than a usual Belgian ale. Decent.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 12/05/16, large sample. Slight hazy yellow color, huge frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, coriander, white pepper, otrange peel. Slight dry and spicy taste, citrussy bitterness, touch of sour. Combi of blonde and belgian white indeed. Ok.
