Unfiltered blonde beer with a touch of wheat and a strong bitterness. Brewed the good old way, it is very refreshing. The only Saison beer produced in the region of Namur! The foam and bubbles are delicate and fine. Balance is the key word for this beer. It shifts between floral aromas, lime, a little broom and a lace mouth, but is robust at the same time. Refreshing as hell, this beer takes us back in time.

From tap at Delerium Amsterdam. Droog witbier. Wel lekker. Backlog from 2015/03/22. Emmeloord, fles van de Mitra. Olieachtig in de mond, maar toch ook droog op de tong, kruidig en heel lekkere gistsmaak. Beetje kruidnagel, lente ui, salade achtig fris. Backlog from 2015/09/05.

Lichtgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en fruitig, kruidig. Sporen van vanille en kardemon. Aparte smaak maar erg goed.

Bottle: Slightly hazed, pale golden-yellow with a thick, soft/puffy white head. Light lemon, dusty aroma. Taste is light, but fairly bright, lemon and yeast. Very easy drinking......much lighter feeling than one would think... Pretty good.

Flaske 750ml - spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune. Åpner med både smell & røyk. Lys blekgul. Bra skum som flater helt ut. Tynn lacing. Søt forsiktig fruktaroma. Smaken sitrus. Dempet.

330ml bottle [a Bartlebierian doubling, thank you nonetheless!]. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish fruity, yeasty aroma, notes of apricot and peach, (yellow) apple purée, cautious peppery spicy, minimally herbal, yeasty overtones, a touch of laurel. Taste is initially minimally sweet pale and wheat malty, yeasty fruity, notes of apricot and peach, shifts to a minimally strawy middle part, with slightly dry, grassy herbal and minimally peppery spicy, yeasty influences; reinforced sweetness in the finish. Minimally anaemic, basic Saison without extra special gimmick.

Bottle at Pre-GBBF Shindig 2015. It pours cloudy gold with a thick white head. The nose is doughy, wood, cracker, earth and spice. The taste is crisp, bitter, sort of sweet, minerals, green apple, pear, melon, spice, straw and leather with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. A bit simple and sweetish. Ho hum.

Pre GBBF tasting at Chris and Ruth’s. Hazy gold beer, good fluffy white head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Light and mildly sweet malts. Sweetish floralness. Mild lemon seltzer. A light and fairly crisp finish brings some sweet yeast. Fine but never really takes off.
