Unfiltered blonde beer with a touch of wheat and a strong bitterness. Brewed the good old way, it is very refreshing. The only Saison beer produced in the region of Namur! The foam and bubbles are delicate and fine. Balance is the key word for this beer. It shifts between floral aromas, lime, a little broom and a lace mouth, but is robust at the same time. Refreshing as hell, this beer takes us back in time.

Óriási, nagyon tartós, hófehér habja van. Homályos borostyán színű. Illata nagyon friss, citrusos, gyógynövényes, komlós, csipetnyi búzás jelleggel. Búzás ízvilág, citrusos mellékzöngével. Enyhén kesernyés, korianderes, fűszeres beütéssel. Utóíze sokáig kitartó enyhe keserű, citrusos és fűszeres-korianderes felhanggal. Közepesen testes, viszont nagyon frissítő ital.

Bottled (from Willems, Grobbendonk). Hazy orangeish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, passion fruit, and some slight yeastiness. Flavour is citrus, some yeast, fruits, and mild nectar sweetness. Zest. Refreshing, kind of witbier, but with a tropical fruity twist.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 9/23/2016. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lemon, peach, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, peach, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppery yeast spiciness and light herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, peach, pear, apple, coriander, orange peel, peppercorn, wheat, cracker, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; with great malt/yeast spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. High amount of dryness from carbonation/yeast spiciness as well. High carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, foamy, and fairly creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent saison! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, refreshing, and highly drinkable. A very enjoyable offering.

33cl Bottle from Mitra Tiel. Hazy pale golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of wheat, light spicy, lavender, actually smells like their Blanche de Namur has been used in this beer. Blend between BdN and Triple Moine/Deugniet? Anyway, flavour is wheat, spices, herbs, lavender, ointment, decent bitterness, light spicy finish. Light to medium bodied, suitable firm carbonation, fine bubbles. Not really a true saison imho, but I’ve seen lesser saisons being qualified as such, and this one is called saison and farmhouse ale. Brewers intent? Anyway, nice beer.

Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Cheers! Pours hazy yellow with a frothy, white head. The nose holds light bubblegum, wheat, dry hay. Medium sweet flavour, yeasty and estery, with dried wheat, lemon peel. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. OK finish, with more pale wheat bread, bubblegum, esters. Fine overall.

At Bruges Beer Fest. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting white head. The aroma contains citrus, straw, hay, dough, yeast. Tastes fruity light sweet towards moderately bitter. Medium body and carbonation, refreshing. A tad dry. Decent.
