Bottle. Holy cow, a 12% gose barleywine combo. Hazy ruby color, small tan head that had to be coaxed a bit. Aroma of vinous plums, vanilla, butterscotch. Taste is port wine, toffee, vanilla, brandy. Really interesting.

Bouteille 33cl, bottled on 15-04-2013. Yet another DM beer that disappoints and lingers in the sour/funk - borderline infected - twilight zone which as of late has become a DM trademark.

Bottle. Pours a clear orangish amber with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and caramel with oak and a touch of light tartness. Flavor has much more tartness a growing sweet grain note and backing oak barrels.

Almost clear deep amber - red beer. Tidy pale cream coloured head. Sweetish lactose on the nose. Creamy malt with nice mellow vanilla oak notes. Tangy dried fruits. Whiper of barrel induced paint. Finishes semi dry. The barrelling really suits this beer. Sweet and sour!

26.09.2013, 0,33l bottle shared with Palme @ Arendsnest:
Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is something in the direction of a sweet bourbon-ish barleywine, mild bourbon, oak, raisins, grass, sugar, caramel, honey, alcohol, paint, salt, grass. Taste is slightly sour-ish fruity, oak, citrus peel, dried dark fruits, vinegar, caramel, paint, almond essence, grass, citrus. Slightly dry mouthfeel. Nice, very interesting this one.
