Bottle from trade with bierkoning, many thanks Edo! Trübes dunkel orangegoldenes Bier mit geringer leicht beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr rauchig, Schinken, etwas Röstmalz. Geschmack leicht torfig, röstmalzig, Schinken, dann cremig werdend, Vanille, Karamell, ok!

Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Reddish color, huge white head. Smell and taste malts, subtle smokyness, subtle bitterness. Decent body and carbonation. A bit tingling carbonation, but imo not offensive.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ The pre Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Othmar Rauchbier (rauchmalz) ].[ Trade by bierkoning ]. Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, smoke, meat. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, smoke, meat, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140228]

fles meegenomen tijdens Lentebierfestival 2014 te Leeuwarden. ik ben niet zo’n grote fan van rookbieren,. bier schenkt als donker caramelbruin met witte kraag. aroma van rookmouten en wat zoetigheid, maar de weeïge rooktonen overheersen ook hier. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, zwak/matig bitter normale sterkte, redelijk moutig maar waarbij de rookmouten ook in de smaak overheersen medium body, glad in de mond lage co2.

Bottled @ DDDH, medium sample. Hazy copper color, medium rocky off-white head. Lovely smokey aroma, bacon, some ash and tobacco, caramel malts. Taste has some sweetness and is a bit dry from the smoked malts. Great aroma. Flavor is a bit too sweet actually and could have used a bit more bitterness perhaps. But again, the aroma is awesome.

Bottle @ De Drie Dorstige Herten. Hazy light brown - copper-ish colour, with a large foamy off-white head. Nose is toasted malts, smoke malts, salami, ash tray. Flaovur is smoked malts, bit of caramel. Light bodied and fairly sweet. Easy drinkable.
