Nice hoppy beer, malty and fruity. Yet, the TRIPA and the IPA from Emelisse are better. This one stands a bit in between.

Bottle from the brewery. Not sure if this is actually retired. Aroma is big noble hop with citrus with juicy fruit. Orange pour with a slight haze. thin white head. Flavour is resinour, assertive clean bitterness. Nice sticky, resinous palate. hop is a bit noble hop but ticks most of the DIPA boxes.

Bottle from Martinus, many thanks. Hazy orange amber colored beer with medium light beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, peaches, oranges, orange zest. Solid sweet malty base with honey and toffee followed with harsh hoppy bitterness together with grapefruit, grapefruit zest, pines, yeast. Strong long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 26 July 2013) Amber colour with dense, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of orange, citrus and a touch of resin. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, a touch of resin and a generous citric bitterness in the finish, All backed up by a solid malt foundation, with a certain caramel sweetness. More than medium body. Well balanced and very tasty. Very nice.
