Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm. Settle. Breathe in the moment, then break through the smooth, light head to the bittersweet reward.
Unmistakeably GUINNESS, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.
Pure beauty. Pure GUINNESS.
Guinness Draught is sold in kegs, widget cans, and bottles. The ABV varies from 4.1 to 4.3%.
Guinness Extra Cold is the exact same beer only served through a super cooler at 3.5 °C

Draught at the brewery. One of those classics which deserves the attention. Pours brown and becomes a wonderful dark beer with a beautiful thick off white foam. Surely the worlds most beautiful pint (?!!). Lacks taste of other stouts but then again i like to think of Guinness in a world of its own and it’s one of those drinks I’ll always want on some occasions. ----- Less beautiful in can in UK (maybe 3.6 in Irish pub, 3.3 england can) ---- Keg at Captain Cook, Östersund. A unique beer that does the job on many an occassion. Hard to rate guinness, certainly a 3.6 on draught, maybe less in can. ----- Keg, same place. Nicely caramel this time. Shame one is always thirsty af afterwards. ----- Keg, Bishops Arms Östersund. Today it was just so damn good. Smooth and cold. St paddy day after a shift. Moorish af 3.7. To 3.9 ----- Re-rated in brewery tap, Tullamore. Confirmed. Nutty, malty. More depth in ireland (9/11/18) ----- Keg at Captain Cook, Östersund. Really didn't feel very wonderous this time. 3.9 to 3.6.

Wodniście, aż zanadto, mimo wszystko to jednak "stout"

Draft @ The Arrow, Yeovil (had it numerous times before and afterwards though). Aroma of roasted malts. Taste is liquorice, dark chocolate and cocoa. A pleasant little bit of butter. Some hops. Creamy but also watery. Low carbonation. Totally sessionable. Reliable.

Non-nitro bottle pour into tulip glass from Signal Variety. Appearance is mostly black (dark ruby with light source directly behind), thin beige head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is mostly bitter roasted malts with hints of coffee. Taste is as aroma. Palate is medium-to-full bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, always prefer the nitro version. This is rich but is pretty one dimensional.

En fût. Couleur brune foncée presque opaque, mousse moka crémeuse et éternelle laissant une épaisse dentelle. Arôme de malt torréfié, café froid, cendré. Goût de malt torréfié, café léger. Carbonatation faible, corps moyen-faible.

F: pale brown, very creamy, not big but very stable. C: dark, opaque, red tones against the light. A: roasted malt, oats, some mineral, coffee, dark chocolate, yeast. T: malt, roasted tones, dry bitterness on the palate, chocolate, coffee, watery, light body, good carbonation, for me quite watery but good balanced otherwise, 0,33l can from Colruyt in Brussels.

Can. 4.1%. From the local offie. Clear, dark red. Nitrogen induced, dense, creamy head. Nose has chocolate truffle. Some roast coffee bean. Sweet roast malt. Taste is slightly sweet, with light, roast bitterness. Mouthfeel is smooth, but pretty watery. Short, very lightly bitter finish. Ok.
