We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil come’s from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”). Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

Keg at the Draft House Hammersmith. A bright and lively IPA that was thirst quenching and really rather fun. A very pale colour in the glass, but bright and breezy in the mouth. Gentle hops, some bitterness and a low abv. It was quite gassy, so I couldn’t have had too much , but a good start to the evening

Light straw, light haze, thin white head
Aroma of fresh lemon zest, that’s it, no malt
Taste of sharp lemon zest, some grassy hops, no light malt, simple
Palate - Medium carb, light body, light sweet and bitter. Finish of bitter grassy lemon zest.
Overall - OK...not as good as expected...much prefer White Hag Little Fawn

Can. Cloudy pale yellow which looks like piss actually. Nice head and lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus fruits and pine. Taste of citrus fruits(lemons and some grapefruits), mango pine and a tiny bit of honey. Very hoppy bitter aftertaste. Balanced. Low to medium carbonation. Slim body but full of flavour. Very refreshing. Great session IPA! Probably the first one i truly enjoyed. Would buy regularly if it wasn’t for the price tag.
