8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.

Hazy amber beer with a bubbly white head and a tangy, slightly sour fruity smell. Flavour has the same qualities but with a drier, hoppier kick than I expected. Really nicely balanced and very drinkable.

Shared can at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of grapefruits, tropical fruits, some caramel. Tastes bitter, but still balanced. Dry mouth feel. Bitter finish.

Burk från Ales by mail. Smak och doft av humle, malt, citurs, mango, persika. Trots lite trött humle finns här stor sötma, kraftfull och tjock smak, stor beska med smak av citrusskal.

Ein Bier das ich schon vor eingen Jahren hae und mir nicht ganz klar ist, woher ich es hatte -aber ich glaube, es kam sogar aus einem lokalem Supermarkt. Jedenfalls hat es mir wunderbar geschmeckt. Es war ein richtig britisches IPA mit ordentlichen floralen und auch fein-herben Noten, alles in einer Ausgewogenheit, dass es eine Freude ist. Ein tolles Bier, das ich sehr empfehlen kann.

Burk från Ales by mail. Relativt stiltypisk västkust IPA, mycket citrus, stor relativt söt kropp med karamell och rejäl beska. Mest karaktär av citrusmarmelad och kanske lite trött. Bra.
