8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.
Go ahead and sink a few, be rude not to really

From a bottle at the Bevog 2nd anniversary. Pours a hazy amber orange color, topped with a decent frothy off-white head. Mild fruity aroma, some grainy notes in the back. Taste is mildly sweet with some biscuity notes. Mild bitterness in the finish. A nice one.

Tap @ In De Wildeman, sample size. Hazy, amber color. Frothy off white head with good retention. Aroma’s: hop, notably resinous, but also some citrus. Retronasal it’s somewhat sweet, fruit, resin, ryebread. Bitter flavor with light rye sweetness. Medium bodied, relatively full. Finish is earthy bitter, long lasting. Beavertown does it again!

330 ml bottle. Very unclear orange body with a big, foamy off white head that’s both lacing and long lasting. Lovely aroma of grapefruit, other citric fruits, some pine and rye. Flavor is sweet malt, refreshing citric fruity, peaches, grapefruit, grass and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and good fruity bitter aftertaste. Very tasty and nice.
