30cl bottle from AH Jodenbreestraat supermarket in Amsterdam. F: medium, tan, average retention. C: brown, coppery hue against the light, clear. A: malty, mellow fruity, caramel, cherries. T: medium malty base, light roasted tones, chocolate touch, caramel, herbal touch, mellow fruity, soft to medium carbonation, definitely on the sweet side yet still no such disaster, commercial for the style.
Syrupy, brown sugar, caramal sweetness dominates. But has a clear stale off flavour that is is horrible on the retronasal. Albert heijn Amsterdam

hoppy and raisinny aroma. Fruity caramelsweet taste. Hopbitter finish. Less sweet than in the years before. Re-rate: just some malty and caramelly sweetness and not very much else. Easy drinker that is enjoyable at first, but lacks character.

Bottle @ Pannenkoekenhuis Bergzicht, Woudenberg. Clear dark brown, beige foam. Very sweet bok with lots of caramel notes.
