schenkt zwart met fijne bruine volle kraag. aroma van geroosterde mout, chocolade, whisky, turf, alcohol, iets van laurier, smaken zijn vrij zacht, had hem wat extremer verwacht afgaande van het aroma, maar des te beter want zo vind ik hem wat subtieler qua turf achtig karakter, geroosterde mouten, chocolade, hout, geroosterde mouten, vanille, bittertje aangenaam, mooie zachte whisky BA versie, niet te extreem,, goede body, zachte co2, lekkere lange afdronk. niet al te dik daarentegen. verder erg lekker

Bottle @ joes. Dark brown colour with a small beige head. Smells dark malts, earthy, roasty, coffee. Tastes roasty, earthy, coffee, wood. Full body, soft carbo.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Thompson. Opaque pitch black color, average sized dark brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, roast, light coffee, definitely whiskey. Taste malts, some roast, nice Maccallen whiskey coming through, nice bitterness. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Nice!

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 27/10/2017, large sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of roast, cookie, smoke, slight peat, licorice, tar, bit flowery, slight booze. Roasty bitterness, bit coffee, licorice, smoke, ashes. Whisky peatiness is strong, but still balanced nicely with the base beer. Im not a fan of these kinds of whisky, but its pretty well done.

Bottle. Black oily pour. Aroma of peated whisky, red fruit and chocolate. Taste starts with red fruit, then peat and moves forward to chocolate and some licorice. Fruity boozy finish. The whisky is heavy in this one, but I like it.

From bottle at NBF Winter Delft 2015. Black with a frothy, brown head. Sweetish, fruity-malty aroma of raisins, blackcurrant, dark chocolate and coffee. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity taste of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, coffee and raisins. Medium long, roasty, peated finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, flat. Good!

Bottle at NBF Delft. Black with big bubbly light brown head. Light chocolate notes, soft smoke, old stale coffee, spices, sour red berries, obvious scotch whisky. Quite some roasted bitterness with light sourness and sweetness. Medium bodied with boozy feel and quite some carbonation.
