This heavy winter warmer unites all the beauty of the Duits & Lauret Stout with a powerful mouthfeel and a warming aftertaste. Due to its fullness and balance, it can be perfectly combined with winter stews and pronounced blue cheese.

Commissioned by a Dutch beer company exploiting a mobile little brewery, this stout shows a beige head and all-black colour, a smokey and toasted aroma of charcoal, peat, smoked meat, black coffee and gin, and an ashy, dry taste with a smoky and chocolatey hint, a bit of warming alcohol in the finish and a certain ’syrupyness’. Good winter warmer, but not very accessible and only suitable for true stout lovers.

Bottled. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is toffee, liquorice, coffee and some mild alcohol. Flavour is very similar in a very smooth and pleasant way. Bold and big as for the flavour and palate.

Black with creamy beige head. Coffee, roasted grains, liquorice, apple, caramel, candy. Bit creamy, and some overripe stone fruits. Not very sweet, light tart touch and underlying bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly creamy carbonation with slick texture. Nice!
