Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

355 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a medium sized white head. Aroma is dominated by grapefruit but also some citric fruit in general and hint of caramel malt. Flavor has light, smooth malt, strong, refreshing grapefruit and citric hoppy bitterness. Medium body and fruity bitter aftertaste. Very nice and fruity.

On tap @ Rattle N Hum. This is a crystal clear looking, golden colored one. A hefty lacing little off-white head placed in the top. Mild nose at first. At first I wouldn't have noticed anything that reminds of grapefruit. More kiwi fruity, some peach sweetness and a little bit of candied white sugar. Mildish but nice. Tastes good but again, no grapefruit here. More like an mild version of the original sculpin imo. It has a nice oily texture in the mouth and it's about average on the bubbles. A sweetish almost cacti zesty fruitiness in the finish and aftertaste. Grown on you but lacks the wanted grape. 11.06.2015

Bottle at a tasting. Lots of grapefruit both in aroma and flavour. Very juicy fresh feeling fruitiness - citrusy, zesty. High bitterness, high attenuation. Very easy drinking. Great one.

Bottle kindly shared by fajry, many thanks. Dark golden color with medium white head. Light hoppy aroma with citrus fruits. Taste, solid malty base followed by strong citrus hoppy kick with grapefruits, zest, pines. Long hoppy bitter finish. Tasty.

Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phloen Chit, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy reddish amber with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is yeast, grassy grapefruit citrus hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a dry crisp light alcohol citrus peppermint hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a long bitter finish.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a hazy, deep golden with a lacing, off-white head. Some dankness, no real hop freshness, just utterly and astringently bitter. Raw and unrefined in-your-face IPA. 301116
