Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh concentrated grassy, leafs, lawn, hops, citrus peel, moss, hay, pine needles, light malts, grapefruit, hints of caramel. Taste is slightly dry grassy, weeds, lawn, hay, hops, leafs, minerals, pine needles, citrus peel, bark, light malts, grapefruit, alcohol, paper, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Aroma is resin, hops, fresh sawdust and grapefruit.
Flavor is resin, pinee needles and loads of grapefruit. Big and long bitterness.

tap - Pours gold and smells of hops and citrus, especially grapefruit of course. The flavor is loaded with grapefruit and somewhat on the sweet side up front with moderate to strong bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied. It has more grapefruit then I like, but I’m much of grapefruit fan. It’s well made and if you like grapefruit, you’ll probably like it a lot.

Only slightly orange beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma is interesting, blood grapefuits and sweet mandaring, some sweetness and tropical fruits. Taste has strong blood grapefruits and mandarin, medium bitterness that is long lasting, some pine. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, refreshing. Nice and tasteful beer with interesting and very strong grapefruity and mandarin notes.

355ml bottle into tulip. Clean fresh grapefruit nose, not tart more sweet like tangerine. Clear golden beer with solid white head. Full body, oily texture. Finish is cleansing and fruity. Not as bitter as I expected it to be. Beautifully balanced, amazingly easy drinking for 7%! Would make a great breakfast beer (if it wasn’t for the ABV!)

Optisch wie ein Weizen, kein Schaum, behäbige Perlen, in der Nase Fruchtig, Geapefruit, Honig. Im Trunk fruchtig, cremig, mittig alkoholisch, dann bittersüß, das sich bis in den Abgang zieht. Sehr schöne Geschmackskomposition. Für 7% wirklich gut trinkbar.

Taster at Brothers Beer. Really fruity, sweeter than anticipated. Could have a little more grapefruit, but is definitely delicious.

clear golden colour, large, creamy yellowis off-white head; aroma and taste is fully dominated by grapefruit with some biscuits and of course IPA-ish bitterness; a bit one-dimensional, but who cares, if it is still perfect! :-)

Bottle (from beergium). Pours golden-amber. Aroma is sweet, grapefruit extract. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, grapefruit extract. Finish is grapefruit bitter and bit watery. Body feels watery. Overall: ok, feels bit old.
